What Is This Page For?
The "Book Detail" Page is the page you get taken to when you click on a book title. It allows you to see the full details of the book on one page. The Details shown are:
- Cover Image
- Author
- Title
- Binding
- Publisher
- (#) Available for Mooching
- Date
- Pages
- ASIN
- Where Published
- Topics
- Description
- Condition
- Reviews
What Can I Do On This Page?
Depending on whether you are are viewing the detail page of one your own books or the books of another members you will have different buttons appear.
If you are are viewing the detail page of one your own books
Add to wishlist
If you click the "Add to Wishlist" button, it will place the book on to your wishlist; where you will receive notifications if the book becomes available. If you accidentally hit this button you will have an opportunity to fix it on the confirmation page that follows clicking the button.
Mooch this book
If you click the "Mooch This Book" button on the right, you will be taken to the "To where do you want the book sent?" page. Where you can send a notice to the book owner that you wish to mooch their book.
Save for later
If you click the "Save-For-Later" button at right, it will add the book to your Save-for-later list. If you accidentally hit this button you will have an opportunity to fix it on the confirmation page that follows clicking the button.
Amazon Info
If you click the "Amazon Info" button at right of the book, it will take you to the listing for the book at Amazon.com
Related editions
By clicking the "Show related editions" button at the top of the Wishlist page, you query thingISBN and xISBN for information about alternate editions of wishlisted books, and displays those books which are currently available for mooching. You can view a list of all editions (available and unavailable) known to Book Mooch (and the ISBNs of those not) by going to the detail page of an individual book and clicking 'Related Editions'.
Recommend
By clicking "Recommend" button at the right, you will be taken to an email form; where you can send a recommendation to someone to take a look at the book you are viewing. The email is sent through Bookmooch's email system. norton anthology of english literature
Your wishlist
This button takes you to your Wishlist page where you can edit the books you currently are watching for.
Add or Change your condition notes
By clicking the "Add/Change Condition" button, you will be taken to the "Edit your condition notes for a book" page where you can enter in any extra information you want on the condition of the book.
Write a review
By clicking the "Write a Review" button, you will be taken to the "Write a book review" page where you can put in your review of the page. You can use basic Html in your review to spruce it up.
If you are viewing the detail page of another member's
Mooch this book
If you click the "Mooch This Book" button on the right, you will be taken to the "To where do you want the book sent?" page. Where you can send a notice to the book owner that you wish to mooch their book.
