BookMooch Points Barter

I have often said i wish John would allow DVDs on the BookMooch site, or create a sister site for the purpose of trading other items besides books. I decided to set up a email list where anyone can make offers and describe what they have to give away and how many BookMooch points they want for it. ....or post 'wanted' notices describing what they want and how many points they'd be willing to barter for it. Point values are determined by the point owners

Points can only be 'spent' officially on BookMooch for a book, but thanks to the CHARITY function at BookMooch, points can be given to any other member for any reason at all, including bartered for items other than books. Since the points will only be traded among members, the points will not disappear - instead, those people that have an abundance of points may be willing to trade some of them for other items of value [or even services] and thereby release points that have up til then sat unused and hoarded for months. the idea is to get the points circulating among members rather than hoarded.
