What do all these stats mean?
| Statistic | Description |

| Points | The number of points that you've earned. You use points to mooch books. |
| Books sent | The number of books that you've sent, but that haven't been received yet. |
| Books to receive | The number of books that you have mooched, but not yet received. |
| Books received | The number of books that you've received from other members. |
| Books given | The number of books that you've given and have been received by other members. |
| Mooch ratio | The ratio of the number of books that you've mooched to the number that others have mooched from you. |
| Feedback | Your current feedback score. |
| Friends | The total number of your BookMooch friends. |
What is the purpose of the Friends system?
The main point of the Friends system is to give you easy access to the inventories of a group of people who may have books you want to mooch, or people who would be your preferred source of mooching.
How can I see any pending items?
Click on the Pending tab.
How can I see my history?
From the Pending page, click on the History button.
How do I change my address?
Go to your Account Profile page and enter your new address.
Can I opt-out of international shipping?
Go to your Account Profile page and set the "I am willing to send books to" option to "My Country".
What do I do if I'm going to be away for a while (more than a few days)?
Go to your Account Profile page and set your Status Message.
If you know you can't answer to mooch requests for a while, you can also vacation your account: this takes your books off-line temporarily. Go to Member Home, click "Your Account" button, then click "Vacation", confirm the security check and click "Go on Vacation" button. Your inventory of books will be removed so that no-one can mooch them. Use the "come back from vacation" feature to make your books available again.
Notice: if you log in while your account is in vacation, your inventory comes back online. If you want to continue your account's vacation, you then need to vacation your account again.
What should I put in my Status Message?
Your status message is shown whenever someone attempts to mooch a book from you, so it is a good place to note general information about yourself or the status of your books. You might note how often you post books, the general condition of your books if you don't post a specific condition for each, whether or not yours is a smoking household, whether you have pets, and so on.
